What we offer

Tutoring built around your reader.

Every learner starts in a different place. We focus on what will move the needle most — from first sounds to fluent, confident reading — and adjust as we go.

Dyslexia & structured literacy

Explicit, sequential phonics using Orton–Gillingham-based methods — the gold standard for dyslexic readers.

Reading fluency

Build accuracy, speed, and expression so reading stops being a struggle and starts to flow.

Comprehension

Strategies for understanding, remembering, and thinking about what's read — not just decoding it.

Early reading readiness

For young learners — phonemic awareness, letter sounds, and a strong, joyful start.

Spelling & writing support

The same patterns that unlock reading also strengthen spelling and written expression.

Adult learners

Discreet, respectful one-to-one help for adults who want to read with more ease and confidence.

How it works

Getting started is simple

No assessments to schedule before you even talk to a person. We keep the first steps light.

1

Free 20-minute consult

We talk through what's going on, what you've tried, and what you're hoping for. No cost, no pressure.

2

A simple starting plan

We suggest where to begin, how often to meet, and which setting fits best — your home, the library, or our office.

3

Weekly one-to-one sessions

Structured, multisensory, and tailored. We meet consistently and adjust as your reader grows.

4

Progress you can see

We track growth and check in regularly, so you always know what's improving and what comes next.

Where we meet

Come to you, or our Gilbert offices

We travel to homes and local libraries across the East Valley, or you can meet us at our home offices in Gilbert. The communities we serve:

Gilbert
Mesa
Chandler
Queen Creek
San Tan Valley
Tempe

Our home offices are in Gilbert; for the other communities we come to your home or a nearby library. Prefer to meet online? We offer live, one-to-one video sessions anywhere.

Homeschool families

A reading specialist for your homeschool

Many of the families we work with homeschool. We slot right in alongside your curriculum — taking the lead on structured, evidence-based reading instruction so you can focus on everything else.

  • Works with any homeschool approach
  • Daytime & flexible scheduling
  • Progress reports you can keep for records
Funding

We accept ESA funds

Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) families can use their funds for our tutoring. If you're enrolled in the ESA program, reading support with us is an eligible educational expense.

  • One-to-one tutoring is ESA-eligible
  • Itemized invoices for your records
  • Happy to answer ESA questions
Ask about ESA

ESA program rules are set by the State of Arizona and can change — we'll help where we can, but families are responsible for confirming current eligibility.

Sliding scale & sibling rates available. We never want cost to be the reason a child doesn't get help — just ask. Arizona ESA funds welcome.

In-person sessions are 50 minutes so there's real time to work. Short 30-minute sessions are offered online only. We travel throughout the East Valley at no extra charge — for the furthest areas we'll group nearby families on the same day where we can.

Session packages

Book a block, simplify the paperwork

Packages are billed at the same $75 weekly-plan rate — no markup, no discount. They exist to make scheduling and ESA reimbursement easier, so you're handling one invoice instead of a dozen.

4 sessions

$300

About a month of weekly sessions — a good way to get started and see early progress.

8 sessions

$600

Roughly two months. Long enough to build real momentum and measure growth.

12 sessions

$900

A full term of steady work — the rhythm where lasting reading gains happen.

ESA families: we provide itemized invoices for ClassWallet, so a single package submission covers the whole block.
